is a memorial stone to priest O. L. Sjödin, who initiated the
construction of the bridge.

Vasaloppsstenen, Berga by
The Vasa race stone
The Vasa Ski Race, the world´s largest
cross-country ski race, has been an annual event since 1922.
Just south of Sälen, in Berga by, you will find the Vasa race
start with the Vasa race stone - An obelisk with all
Vasaloppet winners´names carved in it.
Vasamonumentet, Olnispagården

The Vasa Monument
Legend has it that Olnispagården is the
place where Gustav I Vasa spent the night while on the run
1520-1521. He had just left the farm when two men from Mora
caught up with him and convinced him to return and become
their leader in the war of liberation against Christian II of
Denmark.
In 1903 the Vasa Monument was erected
just outside Olnispagården in commemoration of this event.
Fulunässoldaten, Fulunäs The Fulunäs Soldier statue
This is where the Görälven och
Fuluälven rivers merge to form the Västerdalälven. The
Fulunäs Soldier statue, located at a rest area, is a monument
to all the men and women who protected the Norwegian-Swedish
border during the Second World War.
North of the rest area are significant
remnants of one of Sweden´s largest, most important defenses
from the war era, 1939-1945

The true nursery rhyme. This statue is a tribute to a event in
1850 when little Jon Ersson fed a bear.
